Another mystery object

3 winch handles and THIS on Alibi. I've wandered around the boat and can't find anything it fits. Any ideas Seabreezers?

Yep, that fits a c1968 winch.

I did have one on the mast of my Top Hat but removed it when I brought all Halyards etc back to the cockpit.

Luckily I had made a drawing of it as I have lost 2 overboard before attaching a safety line to it.

Yes Bristol, truly a great wealth of info on this forum. I note your handle has 2 bolt holes and others have 3, what about the respective lengths?…this is probably unimportant as you've got a good idea of what it is/could be.

As you can see mine had 3 holes but one was for the safety rope I put on.

Using the inner hole was for final tightening of the halyard or that's what I used it for!

Look out for Mark 1 Top Hats, as they are the only vessel I've seen them on.

Id love a spare handle !! Im bound to lose my.only 1 for my tophat mast winch
