Hello All.
I have just fitted a new anchor winch to my boat .The old winch it was replacing had two positive terminals and a negative. According to the wiring diagram I got with the boat , one positive controlled the up button and the other the down button.
The new winch only has a single positive terminal. I have conected the up side positive terminal to the new winch motor . It works fine but the down button dosent activate at all now. It is a two direction winch. What would I need to do to get the down button on the new winch operational .
