I'm having a look at this one on the weekend, does anyone have more information on these or can recommend? https://yachthub.com/list/yachts-for-sale/used/sail-monohulls/adams-tasman-26/228132
Rebuilt engine, new standing rigging, full battened main with boom bag and lazy jacks, head furler, everything runs back to the cockpit, couple of new rope clutches, new batteries, all the radios, re-painted, fully encapsulated keel, skeg hung rudder. All the hard work has been done, mate if you don't buy her i might. I think she would be a great little sailor, fast and maneuverable, stiff enough, shes got some tumblehome and good ballast ratio so that would help out with her stability considering she's pretty beamy, she should point well and be fast running, but she is probably more prone to weather helm and broaching so a good easy reefing system will keep you upright. Not a heavy weather boat but a fast and capable boat in moderate condition non the less. All based on assumed generality of course.
Perfect for flying over to kangaroo island and back. Just my opinion.
thanks LandofNod for the reply. Yeah just cruising around adelaide waters and the occasional short trip to kangaroo island are all I'm looking for. Hopefully all works out!
