Thumbs Up

Just taking this chance to introduce myself.
Gary Malmgren. Originally from Melbourne. Ended up in Perth and sailed away.
Ended up in Singapore and then Japan.
Been here for 30 years.
You can't sail a Japanese registered boat without a Japanese license, which is a lot of work and money to get.
last year got a first class marine license and a 30 year old 25 footer.
brought it back to my home port of Sendai.

Worked on it last year, got a bit of local cruising in.

Have been reading Seabreeze for a couple of years.
Boats and mooring in Japan are dirt cheap. I bought Jonathan for about $3000A.
But gear is really expensive so I make up as much as I can.
