Thumbs Up

Charli has just posted about his Yanmar YSE pump and filter upgrades.
Usually, to bleed a filter after a change we unscrew the banjo fitting.
This releases the pressure on the copper washers and lets the air out.
However on a cast ali filter housing you can strip the thread after a while.
I suggest a proper bleeding screw as a fix. These have a needle and seat.
On the filter you can use this type with a short hose to contain the spill.
This from Beta.

For fittings screwed into metal like a fuel pump.
The last one is from Yanmar and of course has a stupid price tag. Even more that the one from Benz.
