Hey everyone!
Just recently got bitten(BADLY) by the land sailing bug and have read just about this entire forum. Im one of those guys that
builds something first and figures it out later. Built a wood yacht known as Woodie that is a rolling illustration of
Home Depots inventory. It actually surprised me by working fairly well considering. Just finished converting my kite buggy
also.
Wow you Aussie fellas are really serious speeders, I am really impressed with yalls work! Im more inclined to the "recreational" end of the spectrum. Living on coastal Georgia, US there are basically only beaches to sail and the beach goers keep the speed down. I do live in a county with miles of little used back roads that I sail also.
This all got started with power kiting which I intend to get back to. I seem to see some of the same or similar names from the Power Kite forum here. I posted a thread about the sailers there but felt like I was cheating on the kiters so here I am.

Thanks aus230!
This is so far the better LS forum I have stumbled into. Its a wealth of info and knowledge.
Already mentally laying plans for another sailer based on a lot of what I have read here.
