That is one scary looking landyacht. It would fit the 5.6 mini rule....

Hello Clemco,
the buggy with two wheels,(kite bike) are easy and stable even when they run.

Yesterday I had the privilege to sit down in the Carrapaho. The first feeling was amazing, I felt immediately at ease - pretty important in a landyacht where balance is made by the pilot - the building is very solid, the seat is low and the steering - Alberto will concentrate his efforts on the handlebar, dropping the pedal control - is reactive with the right autorithy (I mean, not too "loose").

Next September we're going to Sardinia to took part to a great event (the Italian landyachting and Class 8 Championship) where enthusiasts will also attend to the first TWO WHEELS LANDYACHT CHALLENGE

I wish you don't mind if I offered the sticker I got at 2012 Worlds from the AUS Team to Alberto, he has got plenty of seabreeze spirit to deserve it

Ciao - Enrico

My concerns/comments
When you tip over I can see your legs bending the steering shaft at its support. You sit up too straight making your body into a wind brake. You are too high from the ground increasing your chance of tipping. The steering wheel/shaft assembly is all that you hold when you spin out/tip over and will be subjected to huge lateral loads. Where are the sheet ropes to control the sail. For good speed where is the streamlining. No flex in you back axle, so extreme vibration over rough terrain. Sliding/swinging seats went out in late 20th century. Best weight shifting is forward/backward. Bent frames will be hellishly expensive to repair back to specifications.

I see a very very fast kite buggy. Beautiful design and construction Alberto. just needs the seatbelt harness.

That is a work of art.
The skills required to pilot it are beyond me.

I tried rolling down a grassed hill in Yeppoon on a Peter Lynn "kite bike" and need a front end loader to fill in all the divots.

May have had something to do with the "Local silly syrup", I had consumed.
