I noticed some people on an ice yacht forum converting some 'Lockley Skimmer' ice yachts to mini yachts....
Interesting design and VERY simple.

We have several sailors that own Skimmers in our area. We sail on ice alot and they are very simple and well performing boats. We also do alot of parking lot sailing in the off season and we have a couple boats converted to wheels and they go very good on dry land also, as well as Blo Karts if not slighlty better. Great simple design that could be copied and home built easily if you have access to a pipe bender. they dont break down for transport like the Blo Kart but they can be car topped quite easy.

That is a beautiful piece of design. I really like the use of wire and turnbuckles for setting of toe in/out on the rear blades.

A fully stayed mast on a very rigid base frame too.

The base frame is quite similar to your design Gizmo. You know, the one that the wheelie bin rides on.
