Hi metro crew,

I am relocating to Perth from overseas and my board did not fit into my suitcase.
I am 77kg on either a 9m or a 12m kite.

Any hint on where to get a budget board to get started? -I prefer the longer type.
Any shops that sell 2nd hand or possibly your own dust collector in the garage ?

Also where to go to connect with other kiting crew?
level? i carve, load&up, jump, do 180s, snowkite, and love [}:)] gusty & choppy conditions as this is what I had for play in the windy upper midwest of the US.
anyone knows the movie 'fargo' [}:)]?

looking forward to riding some WA breeze with you.
cheers, neb

Hey Neb

Best bet for s/h boards is the Buy & Sell on this site.

All the spots are listed under ""Location Guide" at - www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=waksa&e=com except for Point ###### which is a secret spot that not many people know about ....
and if I see someone there today that was there yeterday, that's as close to a crew as I get.

You like gusty??.... Then if you make it here by Sunday things should be ideal.

Good luck

P.S. Never saw "Fargo" but did they by chance film some of the windier scenes from Blazing Saddles there

P.S.S. Best u don't hire a "Wicked" van

Hey windging,

Thanks for the insight. Where is that secret spot again
I got a twin-t lined up but will not get to Perth until next week. Too bad I missed the gusty stuff on Sun [}:)]. I sure will miss the mad wind of the upper Midwest (it is always gusty here), the blizzard kiting, and all that good stuff once in WA .

Alright then, what's a "Wicked" van

Looking forward to riding with ya.

Cheers, Neb
