Hey.

I`m new to Perth (from Norway) and I`m wondering if theres anyone that hold certified kitelessons during winter. I`ve been advised to wait until october, but i`m just asking anyways. Maybe start practicing on land is an option that could work?

Does anyone know where I could get in touch with good instructors?

Hey Degolas
check out Darrens (from australian kiteboarding school) post

Winter, particulary in perth is not the best time for lessons, but at least your pretty much at the end of winter. In 6 weeks and the season pretty much starts, squalls stop and the wind gets a lot more consistant and by beginning of November the seabreezes start, constant 18-25 daily at 12/1pm. So do your research, check out the WAKSA website for Schools and Shops, and hopefully we'll see you on the beach in a few weeks.

Hi Degolas,

We are open for lessons all year round. Todd is right, Winter isn't quite as good for lessons as good conditions are generally harder to come by, saying that, we've only had about 3 weeks out of this Winter where we haven't held lessons.

Feel free to give me a call on 1800 927 873 to find out about organising lessons.

We are lucky down in Safety Bay because we can hold lessons in a much wider variety of Wind directions than other schools, because of the orientation of the land, and the massive sandbank we teach on.

Cheers!
