It seems that all the kiters down south have moved on or given up on the sport. I kited Augusta sun but all the kiters were wave riders. Are there any freestyle/flatwater riders who are keen on doing a trip downsouth over the christy break. I have access to huge beach house in peppy beach but was think more like caravan park in augusta or somewhere similar.

If there are any locals or anyone who is keen for a kite weekend leave a reply or email me at pynnee@gmail.com so we can get some numbers.

Would be good to see some nubes attending aswell.

Hey pynnee,
Very happy to see other kiter who looks for flat spot. I'm in margaret river, prevelly beach and here all are wave kitesurfer and guys here don't seems to be opened for flat spot... Beaches here are not in my level with wave and reef!!!
I make round with my car last weekend in hamelin bay, redgate beach and Augusta but any kiter!!!!
I'm here for already 3 week, and quite frustrated to not ride already and to meet any kiter. So if you are interested to share experience and great moments...I look to ride with other, best way to meet people and get fun as well.
I'm newbies in Kite, so of course I avoid wave and reef spot as surfer point!!!! And look for flat and quite shallow spot, as Redgate, hamelin, dunsborough or around Augusta.
I have more experience in snow kite, so now I'm in the best place to improve my level on sea!!! And later, after 3 months hope to experience a wave ride!!!!

I don't know your level in kite but hope you are open to welcome beginner!!!!
I work in restaurant but I have sunday and monday day off, also it s closed on Christmas week, so totally available and enthousiast to plan ride, barbecue... as you proposed on your post...

Let's make a kiteboarder tribe of south west australia!!!!
Get me in touch, here is my email: stefbystef@hotmail.fr
See u
