Hi guys
Just to let you know my car was broken into at woodmans point yesterday (monday 7th April) between 1400 and 1640 while i was out kiteboarding. there was nothing lying around in view. They still broke the lock and got in and stole my wallet and phone out of the centre console.
I hope this brings awareness that these low lifes are still out there in plain daylight while other kiters come and go. Please try and keep an eye on each others cars when around the car park.
There was another break in at Shoalwater yesterday. Back window of car smashed and phone and wallet of kiter stolen. Maybe same guys
Dudes and dudettes. Just stop leaving stuff in your car! Simple solution. I leave my car doors open, and nothing of value inside. They're just little ****$ looking for easy pickings...not to steal a car. get a waterproof bag for your ****, take to the beach with you (less chance of them going down there and rifling through your stuff, or just leave all your precious crap at home or somewhere else.
I saw the best tip the other day.
Have a few beach kiddy toys, like a bucket with a car or two in it.
Wrap valuables in nappy. Tuck nappy in bucket with kid's stuff.
I guarantee no-one will voluntarily touch a wrapped up nappy let alone look inside..
