Checked out some spots around margaret river and Augusta but can't really decide where to go on sat, would say Augusta only the cut in the dunes makes it impossible to go to the other side as mentioned in the other forum.
At margaret river mouth similar problem, strong rib current makes it impossible to go to the other side... For the other beaches around the main problem is the amount of seaweed/seagrass in the water, crash your kite ones and your lines are ****ed!!

by the sound of it you shouldn't go, the west coast eats east coasters up. 
There's a strong SSW forecast and a large swell, I'm guessing ur not familiar with the area I suggest you go further north say around Perth area, or if you are already in margs go to the boat ramp (gnarabar) 
Augusta no good on a SSW unless u want to kite J's beach, oh and the cut is pretty much closed so no drama crossing it.

Jared mentioned Gnarabar, he means Gnarabup. Gnarabar is a bar - for drinking!! Boatramps is a reef break out from Gnarabup beach. Inside the reef will be more protected. So kite off Gnarabup, then go for a beer at Gnarabar!

there should be some good little runners in the pocket.....but be careful of the wind shadow (close to the boat ramp) the wire fence has claimed a few kites
Haha... Well wind was not good at all. Drove to perth ans had a 30min sick session at Fremantle, just like everyone else... We all know the feeling you have 2 go
