Hope to see all you passionate WA kiters there!!
Do you have the time to help contribute to the great sport that is kite boarding in Western Australia?!?
Do you have strong views on how the sport should be governed??
WAKSA is looking for new committee members to continue to take the sport forward in a professional and organised manner. We are particularly interested in anybody with a legal, financial or marketing background to assist in these areas where the current committee is lacking experience. The association cannot continue without the tireless efforts of volunteers and the board experience will be invaluable for any individual. Put your hand up and help make a difference to kite boarding in WA!!
For any further information please contact waksa@waksa.org.au
Could the proposed changes to the Constitution please be published in advanced to allow consideration by all members.

We busy finalising next summer's calendar atm, HEAPS of foil events ![]()
Hi Andy,
Good question and to be honest we're still going through the document ourselves and haven't finished. We will do our utmost to finalize this and publish before the meeting. If we don't then this won't go to a vote and the draft constitution will be handed over to the next committee to action.
Leigh (WAKSA Secretary)

WAKSA
Dear All,
The AGM is tomorrow night and it would be great if all WAKSA members could attend. The 2014/15 season marks my last year as president and so the position is vacant along with the vice-presidents.
I will be attending the meeting earlier if anyone wants to chat before the AGM, if you are thinking of joining the committee.
While some current committee members will be staying on, we can't always rely on others stepping up.
If you are thinking of stepping up, now is the time to do so. A strong committee gets things done and makes our sport stronger.
Our sport has changed over the past two decades and it is time for next generation to take over from old school kite surfers like myself.
New and experienced members with a passion for all disciplines and all the aspects kite surfing has to offer are needed so our sport can be here for the next two decades.
Thanks in Advance,
Darren Ellis
WAKSA President
