As a local resident, regular beach user and kite surfer I found the arguments against using a section of the beach for kite surfing quite weak ... I think as a group we can take extra care to be aware of our surroundings, pedestrians etc when launching and retrieving and try our best to avoid any incidents which may raise this restrictive issue in the future (tho sometimes not easy when you are learning!)... take care on the beach and rip it up on the water .... bring on some wind ...
Thats not good news... ITS FREAKN GREAT NEWS!!!! So Im guessing there is a distance we need to stay away from the surf club?? Most kiters have enough common sence to stay away from other beach users anyway.. I havent seen any incidents in 3 years!
