New to kiting but supper keen,
Been caught out lately in real gusty winds and getting into some undesirable predicimates
I am learning the limits of my safety gear pretty quick
Been going solo in augusta inlet and boat ramps beachcy, want to go out around killcarnup area but haven't bee game last couple of weeks
were do people go down here, do I need to wait for summer winds that are more steady
Be nice to have someone launch kite instead of dragging my star picket around.
keen to hear from any one with any suggestions
New to kiting but supper keen,
scored boranup after a offshore surf the wind picked up bit hard to stay up wind did a couple of walks of shame.
good gutters and banks at the moe about knee to waist high to 80meters offshore
seem to be a good spot
went out at augusta inlet again yesterday with 14m cab was about 8-12 knots
great little kickers about half to 1 foot
couple of long walks of shame wind was not strong enough for me to edge up wind to successfully
seems to be a great spot for it if wind was a bit stronger

The Wind Will and Gravity ProTour competition will commence on the 8th of January 2011. This is a new event that we hope will become a annual event for the people of Augusta/Margaret River.
The Wind Will and Gravity Tour has attracted some of the biggest names in the freestyle kite boarding world including Australian and Local Riders. Along with the competition there are also plans to photograph and film the entire event including the rider’s down time which will take in Winery Tours, Historical sites and of course the rugged but spectacular coast line that the south west provides.
We are very excited about this project and hope We can get as many spectators as possible to add to the visual aspect of the filming and photographing of the tournament.
