Sounds to be a lot of crew either thinking about or booked in to hit Exmouth this season. Would be good to put names to faces and see what everyone looks like behind the forum. We are also getting a lot of enquiries through our website about people looking for others to kite with, could be a good chance to arrange sessions.
How about friday nights at the Lighthouse cafe, BYO and located conveniently between Town and Yardie Homestead, Get together apres kite to share the stoke.
Hopefully see you there starting this Friday :-)

hi mate
i hope to be there on FRI 3RD Oct looking forwad to meeting and getting to know more about the area
I assume that poledancers are not welcome.
you would not want to mix the streams :(
Depends on which type of pole dancing you're referring to.. ![]()
I'm not going to be up there but surely there wont be this sort of divide - would there? ![]()
After last year, I reckon the divide is worse than Perth.
should have used polies instead of pole dancers as the later could be quite appealing.
no devide betwwen the 2 here. We all share the same spots and look out for each other.
Nice set of rose coloured glasses you have there. As someone who kites and windsurfs (I'm sure there will be some comments). I was at a beach 2 days running. Kited the first day and was greeted warmly by the other kiters, turned up the next day and pulled out the windsurfing kit and the same people acted like I had a second head. Windsurfers are outnumbered, so I spose it's to be expected.
The a animosity is alive and well.

strange as that's just not the vibe I'm getting up here. I can only imagine you met a select few that brought that bad vibe from down south up here with them..... Anyway, lets get this back on track, windsurfers, kiters, surfers, suppers, fishos, and even Kayak surfers, no matter how you are here to enjoy the water you are all welcome for Friday night beers at the cafe.
hi there
which is the better place to stay at Yardie or Lighthouse
i will be kiting but the family will be snorkling and catching rays (sun) we need a powered site for my hired campervan
cheers

Both can offer you powered sites, not much between them to choose. Both are well located for kiting and checking everything out. We like being based at the Lighthouse because its closer to the beach and surf.

Maaaaaate it took me a while to work out who you were :-) let's do it, when's good for you guys? Pm me
We will be there tomorrow night, probably around 7. we've put a photo of the menu on our facebook page for anyone who wants to know. Www.facebook.com/exmouthkitecentre Hopefully catch you there
Noticed a heap of crew out at just about every known site yesterday, Sunday 28 Sept. looks like everyone was having fun.
Looking at the wind graphs for Exmouth now, how good would have that been if ONLY 1 month earlier.
Was good to put a couple names to faces. Yes, i got to see what a "turtlehunter" looked like. LOL.
Nice to meet you too Tom. Good luck with the teaching.!!
I got to sample most of the name wave spots but missed on that mysto reef I saw whilst flying a microlight overhead.
Yes Scott, I got to rip up the end of the bitumen road both with kite & board, but missed on what I think is the jewel in the crown. Maybe next year.
Cannot help but think the 5 hour drive to another great location is worth it, as the swell size is always bigger and wind a better angle for wave riding.
Camping with a small tent and cooking in the open sounds romantic but does not quite cut it, gotta save for 2015.
See you guys then. Have a good one.
