I'm planning to go to Secret HArbour on Tuesday arvo. I've heard there's good waves around this area.
I've never been there, The further south I've kited is safety bay.
Is there anything to know? E.g. good spot, no launch areas, hidden rocks or anything a local could advise?
From Google map, the beach looks huge. Any advise on where is the best place to launch/ride?

I'm interested to give it a go also! Haven't tried it yet either, Looking at google maps, SSW-SW would seem to be the perfect direction, could be a great downwinder??

Yeah beach is huge!
i´ve never kited down there before but i´ve seen them out. i´m pretty sure you can launch your kite anywhere. Maybe not right in front of the life savers though 
As for rocks, there is none. well i've never seen any when i've gone surfing there.

So I was there last Tuesday. It was choppy, no swell, not very inviting. Similarly to Leighton I'd say. So I headed down to Safety Bay for a flat water session...
