hi nicole , if your meaning including esperance as a destination then we have several spots , there is 4th mile (not my first choice although usualy there are locals or other tourists having a kite at that place so you wont be alone)

also the town bay a little east around from the town center... you will see when you get here how the direction of the wind runs where to setup (its rather choppy though),

also more east near wylie bay we have some nice spots too... if its windy there may be kites up that you can spot from the road other wise just explore from the car parks if you dont have a 4wd (i sometimes kite this spot with several mates for the flat if the swells not much good around town)

other spot is observatory - west of town just past 4th mile, but this depends on your skill level and if your realy keen on waves as its a nice wave but slight offshore and can end up on a reef further downwind (as a few tourist kiters have found out this summer) or a long swim in, plus its full of windsurfers when its realy windy. this is my third fav spot to kite but needs a little respect for the conditions and pole dancers imho

last if you have a 4wd there are spots to choose along the lenght of wylie bay to le grand bay - i do long downwinders here when its blowing onshore everywhere else (sse to s wind direction) my fav spot but only if the winds right and the swell is big

hope thats of some help.

flatwater spots:

Augusta in the river mouth. A sandbank builds a little lagoon.

Denmark inlet as well where the inlet meets the ocean (depending on tide) or in the ocan for good waves (beautyful beach)

shoal Bay near Albany if your´re lucky an there is enough wind.

Australind inlet

And don´t miss Cape le Grand national Park. Beautyful and you can drive on the beach with a 2wd at Lucky Bay and Cape Le Grand Beach and kite. And climb up Frenchmans Peak. Great adventure.

That are my experiences as i had been on this trip for 2 weeks x-mas - near year

I can confirm, definitely Denmark river mouth! Take a left turn in Denmark after Caltex to the City Beach road and go to the end if it. At the end there is a local Surf club, take your kite to the beach and walk left to the river mouth. Otherwise, you will need to cross the river somewhere, depending on tide.

It's a great run, with constant wind 20-25 knots. Absolutely great...

No to mention the Green pool with family to relax after a good session!

Cheers
