Hi all,

A bit of insight into some spots other than flat water in the Cervantes area will be appreciated.

Cheers
Dave

Hangover bay is the place .(pinnacles turn off) . . . You have flat option plus a great wave spot which splits the reef about 500 m south if main car park. . . . At this spot you have various options its up tk you. . . And u will probably be the only one out

How about a PM instead? Not a secret but sure regulars don't want extra traffic!

Gee, youd be extremely lucky to have company at Hangover bay! Ive only ever been out there on my own. Not sure there are any locals, and if there are I reckon they would be more than welcoming.

Its a pretty small wave as well.

Had a quick stopover with family in tow at Cervantes / Pinnacles Caravan Park over the weekend. Without taking the time to do research I rigged up out the front of the caravan park. Wind was slightly offshore here which whilst water was flat made it too gusty. Unfortunate as this would be a convenient spot!

Just following up on this guys.

If you're heading that way, Cervantes is a great little town, some of the most friendly and welcoming locals I have met for ages. I think this is due to them being so proud of their little place. Saw many kites out over the weekend and had a couple of great sessions. Never crowded - there's too much space.

Think hangover bay would be an awesome spot if there was a bit of swell, just be careful over the reef, its not very deep (or at least wasn't this weekend).

Much to do for the family as well, get out and explore...
Jurien Bay has upgraded the beachfront and is now a great place for family fun when the wind is marginal.

It's isolated, and always blows offshore so novices beware!
