Anyone got a cheap reliable car for sale?

Today, on my way back from kitesurfing in Safety Bay, I did my usual thing and took the train from Rockingham to Canning bridge where I switch to bus for the last stretch.
To my suprise the busdriver refused to let me ride because I was carrying my kiteboard, and it was to big to take on the bus. Tired and hungry after a long day on the beach I cursed my luck and started walking home, soon realising that it would probably take a couple of hours. ****, I said and called a taxi. and thus the story endeth.. anyway. Taxis are expensive in the long run, and I MUST kitesurf.

Question is: does anyone here have or know of someone that has a cheap and reliable car for sale? I`m an international student at Curtin and I dont really have much money. Especially now that I have bought myself new kite gear..

car for sale? 1000-2000 dollars max. no wrecks please. Although I do realise that my budget wont give me an aston martin, I`m hoping there is some value for money.
