Take it from me..

600 will get you a board. You pay peanuts you get monkeys!

If you do get a set for $600 it's gonna be pre 2005, it will be dangerous to use because it's probably had 5 previous owners who have thrashed it, stretched the lines or repaired the canopy.Plus the safety systems back then were very basic.

I've seen the end result many times of people like you who want the cheapest gear, they get, it come down to the beach and set up. Then launch themselves into orbit ending up needing a medicare card and a trip to the hospital.. A realistic price for a 'set' secondhand would be around the 1500 mark for something that is decent, safe and will last a while. You can buy a second hand kite and board but get a new harness.

There is plenty of people on here who will sell you their dodgy gear.. Sometimes it's better to head to a reputable shop or wait till you have enough cash to get something worthwhile. What we don't need is people with dodgy gear hurting themselves and giving the sport bad PR.

Good luck in your search and choose wisely!

Agree!!!!

I have a 2010 F-One Revolt 11mtr and a M8 board you can have (both used only twice by a friend) for $1400.00 (Kite alone cost $1699.99)

Safe / new gear and easy to learn on. PM me if you are keen!!!!
