Hi all,

I was just wondering what wind directions work best in Torquay/Anglesea? How consistent is the wind in January?

anything with south.

i haven't been in an east but it looks fine too. depends where you go. I like point danger, the point shown on the map.
This year is El Nino so i've heard it should be a windy january. If you are lucky, 4 days a week.

Where abouts do you launch your kite at point danger?

the north side of anzac drive. should be others kiting there that can show you how.sometimes you need to walk your kite out until the wind pick it up in high tide!
In low tide there's plenty of beach to launch easily.

be careful launching up on the hill at high tide, I've seen more unsuccessful launches then successful launches up on the hill.
