Any wind southern/central QLD at chrissy?

G'day,

I'm travelling between the Goldie and Mackay from mid Dec to mid Jan. Is it worth taking my kite gear this time of year or not? If so, can anyone tell me some spots worth checking out?

I can tell ya YES take ya kites Double island piont is sweet as . Elliot head of bundaberg is good after that any further north and you have got blue bottles that time of the year . As for wind normaly would say it is good wind but this year is looking like poo .

Hey would love to get out to Double island Point over the Christmas break - But need a 4x4.

Anyone heading in that direction with a 4x4???? beer can be supplied at the end of session!!!!

hwy man few good spots in mackay wotever the wind direction thers a place to go.
