kite partner and/or Lift Cairns Yokeys knob

Hi you,

I am Arthur from Mauritius and I'll be in Cairns on the11th, 12th, and 18th of May. I have got my own gear and a nice smile but I don't really know where to go and I am alone without any car. If anybody is keen to split petrol cost and fun to go anywhere please tell me!

I have heard about a downwind from Yokeys to Port Douglas but I cant find many buses to get there and back and it could be cooler/safer to do the ride with someone.

On googlearth there is a long beach which looks perfect south Est of Cairns peninsula between gunjarra Island and Fitzroy island but nobody is talking about it why?

Ah! also, are we allowed to kite from Yokeys to Green Island? or Port Douglas to Low Isles?
