Wanting too give elloit heads qld a try . Can some one tell me what it is like . What winds waves ect and can i camp on the beach there or is there camping caravan park near there

SE wind is the best , camping at caravan park ,walk to the beach , one down point is that it does get very busy on a good day.

AH Elliott Heads, great spot in SE wind, watch out for gumby euros they don't seem to know the rules of safe kiting.
If its crowded get over to Coonar on the southern side of the Elliott River 1/2 tide absolute perfection.

Sounds good iam coming with the family seeing as all we are getting is se easter this year. no where in HB to go that is any good anyway in this grappy winds .
Are se cross on or onshore there i love a good onshore and how wavey is it there surf wise that is .

nice unintelligent comment Terryarmsoff, Windsurfers have been sailing Elliot heads for decades before kitesurfing came along! It happens to be a great speed run for windsurfing, share the water, enjoy the stoke no matter what you ride.. what is it with kitesurfers that have to bag windsurfers, grow up.
