I'm planning on Skipping out of work early on Friday to go away for a camping / kiting weekend this weekend 1 - 2 Dec.
I am in Brisbane and happy to drive for a few hours, I also have a 4WD so terrain shouldn't be an issue.
I was hoping to find some flat calm water to practice some technique.
Any one go any good suggestion.
Not Goldie or around Brissie, I like a bit of a change of scenery and a weekend away.
camp ground at kingscliff is apparently really nice. right on the river.
not sure about flat water spots but there is plenty of places to kite off the surf beach around there
Heard good things about Hervey Bay, I don't know much about kiting the area but there's a bit of info on it that a search of the forums should bring up.
