Hi guys,

I am visiting some friends at Redcliffe & Scarborough, Brisbane soon and would like to know of some good spots to try out some kite surfing and what times of the year are best? My son is learning so where is it good for beginners around there?

Much appreciated. Thanks

Any tips on good kite shops / trainers around there as well for lessons? Ta

Yeah I got in touch with KitePower (especially cool since they're into land kiting as well. Any good locations around Brissy for that?), and Kate was very helpful. Anyone had lessons from her and what was it like? Cheers

You can land board at Brighton or sandgate on low tide, muarrie on the south side or woorim beach on Bribie island just don't go past the start of the 4x4 tracks

+1 for Kitepower, professional outfit (though all the shops in the area are good) ;)
