AUSTRALIA DAY SAT 26th January 2013, everyone's on holidays so lets get together for a PARTY!
Meet at LODERS CREEK Southport GOLD COAST (near KFC and the AIR SEA RESCUE) and have fun with all like minded kiteboarders.
If the winds up, go safe kiting, and break to have some fun on shore.
The SEQKA team will be there with tents, BBQ, games, free raffle x 3, videos,
random prizes for crazy things we see, a pool for kids and so on and a $2 raffle to win a harness.
The Surf Fx boys will supply some great prizes.
This is for all members and non-members, family, kids, and is not a Competition,
but a FREE SOCIAL DAY OF FUN.
THIS EVENT IS ON REGARDLESS OF WIND CONDITIONS/WEATHER, SO JUST BE THERE!!!
Start time is from when the "Winds Up" or 11am-5pm
BYO drinks & extras, as we will supply a BBQ & sausage sizzle until we run out!

Saturday 26: Depending on the WIND and YES there will be wind.... we will be double pegging down our big tent for the start of our fun day at 11am. We have a $170 Da Kine HARNESS to raffle off at $2 a ticket, (3 for 5 or 7 for 10 ) drawn at 4pm and... we have FREE Raffles for a Cabrinha Rashie vest and a Naish Long Sleeve top, and a North $100 Book on Kiting. All kiters.... club member or not, just come to the SEQKA / GOLD COAST KITE CLUB TENT and we give you a Ticket no charge, three draws three winners....also grab your free stubbie holder.... AND we also have a carton of BEER for a lucky KITE CLUB registered member no charge. Remember BYO Esky of favorite stuff, we have a BBQ you can use ( a few spare sausage sizzle things gratis) and we will put up the LCD TV to play some great clips. Music also supplied, at reasonable levels...........
Expecting a wild day but with wind around it's worth hanging out on the beach ready for a kite and surmising life with fellow kiters......see ya there.........
