On holiday in Gold Coast for 10 days

You will be use to the weather as it is starting to get abit cool, it usually blows from the west south west around July/August. There is really only one spot on the coast in the Broadwater up around the Spit near the red barges.

There is one other spot, the "Pin" half an hour north of the Gold Coast by boat.
It is a bar entrance between North and South Stradbroke Island, you can ride in the bar entrance or around the corner in a place called the "Key Hole". If you have Google Earth you can see what I'm taking about.
