Fellow QLD Kiters,
Could you suggest some locations for riding in a N/NE wind?? (as predicted for this w/end).
I think I had one session at Cotton Tree in a NE'r, but I cannot be sure.
I am prepared to travel!

the beach. preferably not directly down wind of a big headland or up wind of a crowd or flags.
yeah buddy - if you can deal waves go for the open beaches - more space out there- otherwise the maroochy and Noosa rivers. Lake Cootharaba is good too. you might like the moreton bay beaches of sandgate, brighton, wellington point or beachmere.
look at the maps and follow smedgs advice - cross or cross onshore winds, no rocks, flags or crowds downwind. get amongst it.
