Just wondering if guys kite old woman island much? A hell of alot better then paddling out off the beach?
Was there after Christmas on holidays and launched a bloke from Mudjimba near the caravan park entrance, he said he does down winders then catches the bus back up, he was out Old Woman way.
I have kited out & around Old Woman but have not seen kiters actually surfing the left or right.
To ride down the line, I would have thought there would be too much turbulence off the Is itself.
ive surfed the left at head high and it was pretty good fun. went over by boat. didn't see a right that was working. from memory. dont think there was any wind at the time.
would be interested to hear how you go as I'd be keen to kite over for a surf when the conditions are right
