Hey Guys, looking at heading to double island point camping for a few days over Easter and hoping to get in at least a bit of kiting does anyone know what the past few years have been like there? I dont mind either kiting in the lagoon or out the front playing in the waves and i also realise i wont really know whats going on until a couple of days before but always nice to know if im completely kidding myself or might be able to get one or two sessions in up there.
Also if anyone else gonna be there at that time shoot me a PM, always better to kite with friends.
Lagoon probably wont be working as you need N to NW winds. SE winds usually in winter so out front will be good.
also in a south east go to inskip point as if going to barge kite on the left side if chasing calmer water don't kite the channel unless you want to play with big teethy things .
and just another quick one very very very busy there at that time of year with lots and I mean lots of people swimers and four wheel drives . And asholes steeling stuff .becarefull and lock ya stuff away like food and easkys and cloths hell lock it all away .
