Hi,

I am going to Cairns (from Melb) on Friday and will be bringing my gear along.

Does anyone know of a good kitesurfing spot in Cairns? I've been kitesufing about a month now, so I'm still learning - just need a lot of practice!

Would anyone be willing to have me and perhaps a friend tag along?

Looking forward to some nice warm weather!

Thanks

Kirstine

Hi Kirstine, I'm a pole driver but I'll jump in anyway.
The best spot is Yorkey's, about 15 to 20min from the centre of Cairns, 99.99% of tea baggers will be here.
I don't think you'll have any trouble finding someone to tag along with

Remember to say hi to the old pole driver when you get here

PS, search my name in photos and you'll find some photos of the area.
