Anyone one know of any good backpackers to stay at whilst kiting cairns?? I'm interested on going alone with a one way ticket to meet new people and just get away from the hectic life of Sydney for a bit. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thinking of leaving early September??
think greyhound do jump on jump off whenever you want bus tickets.
the place to kite in cairns is yorkeys knobb and theres no backpackers anywhere near there from memory.
better bet is to go upto port douglas stay at dougies and kite off 4mile
I'm going up for a week soon- tossing up between bringing all kite gear and renting stuff at the cable park maybe just a day or bringing impact vest and wakeboard and only doing the cable... thoughts?
