A friend has organised a girls day down at Cotton Tree on the 18th of Jan. Hope to see heaps of girls kicking arse and having fun, with plenty of guys cheering them on.

Sunshine Coast Kitesurfing Girls has been created to boost the number of girls involved in Kitesurfing! They are holding a 'Fun Day' on Saturday 18th January at Cotton Tree rivermouth.
We are hoping to see most of the kitesurfing girls that live on the Sunshine Coast on the beach. First we have Sammy Pearce (Winner of KiteJam Gold Coast 2013) and Katarzyna Lange (Polish Pro Kiteboarder) providing some kite skill training, then we will begin a mini comp where girls will receive prizes for things such as: best backroll, best jump, biggest wipeout, etc.
The intention of this group is to provide a network for girls to feel comfortable together out on the water and to build the number of females in the sport.
