Due to lack of wind, event is postponed to tomorrow (Sunday 13 Feb). Same drill, announcement by 11am, sign on at 12nn (at Sandgate Beach), start at 1pm. If no wind tomorrow, we will try again in 4 weeks - 19th March.
Special thanks for Bribie Island Surf Life Saving Club to cover water safety with their rescue boats, and Councilor Victoria Newton to fire the start gun. Also thanks to Brisbane City Council and Maritime Safety Queensland for allowing us to move the event around in accordance to weather.
