Hey guys,
So I have a $500 store credit to use at Ocean Addicts which I would love to use to buy a new board however I have just done a valve spring in my work car which is very expensive to fix so I need as much cash as possible to get it fixed. Anyone willing to help me out??

Well i need the cash so what i was hoping is someone who wants to go in and get a 2014 kite or board, give me the store credit. Example. Board is $800, they give me the 800 i go to the shop with them, buy it using my store credit plus $300 and i keep say the $500 cash, that way i can get my work car fixed and they still get what they want. Then hopefully i can quickly get a 2014 gambler when i come into some more money..

Yeah but average. Would surely help. Hopefully someone who is going to buy a new kite or something from them will see the sense in doing a trade for trade with me so I can get my car up and going again.

Hey man. Did your piston eat your valve? If so what type of cylinder head you chasing? Wish I could afford to burn 500 on new gear. If I had 500 bucks i would spend on food and just kite with old gear and then you would not need work car or rego, tires. petrol. I hope this has helped you see your options
My hilux is ****ed, the rocker cover has been cracked and the mechanic thinks I have bent valves in 2 other cylinders. Just really hoping someone will come to the rescue..

You really should ask the store to pay you back the credit. I mean really they are holding onto your money in their account accruing interest in their name, not yours.

I would simply ask in good faith that you do not need their board, and could you please get your money back. I had to do this once with a bike shop and the store manager gave me grief and said to bad to sad. But I then directed him to my rights as a consumer and the refund laws in Australia and he gave in but in good faith I said, keep $50. He was ok with that.
normally what happens with these voucher things is you would sell your $500 voucher to someone for $400
