We have kite parades each day, right off Shorncliffe pier, overlooking directly at the official start line. The kite parades will take place when we go on the main stage to present kitesurfing. We have been invited to talk about kitesurfing as kitesurfing is now officially part of the Sandgate community. They are expecting over 60,000 spectators watching the start this year.

Does anyone know how close you have to be from the race. i know when we followed the start a couple of years ago we had to stay a distance from the boats.
