The newly formed Brighton Kite Club is having thier sign on day at Brighton Beach this Saturday.
The club was formed as a local affiliate of AKSA in order to provide a stronger voice for Brisbane based kiteboarders.
Membership includes your AKSA insurance cover.

Can we have blue tags please. Just bought a blue kite. With the tag delay thing I think blue tags is the least you could do.

Thats not because I work in a shop either, I joined online in mid September.
Like Rhys I received my 2010-2011 Red Tag last week , I registered online the 22nd September.
The Blue tag was current for the Oct 2007 - Sep 2008 year, maybe next year blue will be selected again

All AKSA Tags since 2004

I am pretty sure the tags are not produced or delivered at club level. I think they are waiting for AKSA to come through.

Are you still covered if you dont have your tag and if so does it matter if we dont have them yet. I dont care if i have mine yet or not as long as it is on some sort of list. Mainly for my son going down to Mambo soon.
OK guys I have spoken to Aksa again tonight and just keeping you all updated as promised.
All members that have joined club and paid monies are covered by Aksa and I have a spread sheet of all pending tags so drop me an email if your worried about not being on it and i'll cross check it.
Aksa will have everything sorted by end of this week and Tags will be 3-7 days after processing.
I will personally follow this up again at end of week and update again.
Thanks for understanding guys we will all move forward from hear, to everyone that dropped down to our first Race day it was a great turnout and every one had a blast.

Update as promised guys
First of the Back dated members I processed have received Tags yesterday 
The remainder are being processed as you read this and all Tags should be in your post box by the end of next week.
Thanks for giving us the chance to sort this out, we will all benefit in the end having a National Insurance cover for Kiters.
