Wednesday is looking good for a Largs Session. Hopefully the wind holds up over the next couple of days so I can crack the 9 out fo the 1st time in a long time. Hopefully I will see a few of you out there.

How deep is it down near Largs bay where you kite?

Is it deep enough for a windsurfer? I have been sailing at Semaphore lately, but being a beginner, some days the waves get fairly large and can be quite frustrating at times. On these same days, I notice Largs is less choppy than Semaphore due to it being shallower I suppose

largs is shallower, but still gets bad chop. its slightly flatter than most of the metro and not too shallow for windsurfing.

Yeah its deep enough but drops away slowly which is why its a favorite for beginners, even if you get yourself in trouble you can normally touch the bottom to recover. Largs also has less breaking waves so its easier to launch etc. Shame the wind forecast has dropped 5 knots since yesterday...
