Hey all Whyalla crew.
Crocker and I will be heading your way on Friday afternoon and we'll be running the Whyalla SAKSA Sign Up Day on the Saturday morning. That afternoon the first Freestyle Clinic will go ahead with the forecast looking fantastic.
Would be great to see all you guys and girls down there as we will be bringing lots of 2010 demo gear from Onboard for you to try.
If anyone wants more info about the clinics or sign up day feel free to call me.

Flat water, ssw winds 20-25kts sounds like good times mix in some beers and it will be the perfect start to the season. The forcast looks sweet, cant wait at least you will only need to bring the small demo gear.![]()
Arrived in Whyalla at about 1700 and quickly pumped up the 2010 7.0m Fuel. Dam she turns quickly!!!
Waxy joined me and we had a good session. Trying mega loops. Tricky with new gear!! Looking forward to the Sign Up day tomorrow and the clinic.
How good can whyalla get, we finally got a day of lotts of watter and lots of wind all day, the rain in the morning wasnt real nice but it was good to see allmost all the whyalla crew turning up and suporting SAKSA. There was a lot of kiteing action, mainly crashes was the trick of the day. A good one from dany trying to do a hooked in backroll kite loop on the demo 10m RPM looked great as he was higher than the kite before he got spanked. Pierce left in a ambo after a s blend half lost his board, caused some majour damage around his leg/hip/groin area. Dont know exactly what the out come will be but we all hope he gets well soon.
The kiteing action was that good, a couple of old ladies wanted to getz a little closer to the action and managed to jump there hyundi getz strait off the wall and on to the beach parked nicely under one of the new sunshades..lol
Both airbags went off but the two old ladies seemed ok.
Thanks to crocker and tino for coming up to Whyalla and organising the sighn up day they did a great job. Definatly made it easy for locals to join, a lot of people that had never joined before joined up which can only be a good thing for kiteboardin at our local beach.
Now cant wait for the next event, at bamera.![]()
Tino, Crocker and everyone from SAKSA would like to thank everyone in Whyalla for their support over the weekend. We had a great time with plenty of wind and a great turn out.
The weekend was a great success and worth the drive :-)
Great to see all the crew and we wish PeeWee a speedy recovery.
Agree with Waxy, good day. Thanks to Tino and Croc for making the journey and putting on a great BBQ on behalf of SAKSA. Freezing cold, but walmed up by the the supreme salesman Jimmy. Beanie's $20, T Shirts $10, again and again!!!!!!
Hope Pearce is ok.
Cheers
