What is TOBYFEST?????

TobyFEST
What is TobyFEST:
TobyFEST is SAKSA's free 2012/2013 Season short film festival. Yes, we all have Contours, GoPros and handy cams, so let's get using them!
So this is how it works:
Get your mates together and start recording your sessions on the water. Edit them all up to make a short kiting film and at the end of the season, enter your clips to SAKSA.
There will be 2 categories up for grabs, one will be judged by a fellow kiter who is a local film maker. He will be judging the quality of the editing in the film, the originality and the overall look and feel of the short film, while the other will be the People's Choice Award which will be judged by your fellow kiters at the SAKSA End of Season Party, which is where we will play all the short films entered throughout the season.
The Criteria:
Make an short film between 30 seconds to 5 minutes in duration. Add some cool beats with the main focus of the movie being kite surfing. It's not about the standard of riding but to demonstrate the stoke that we all get from this awesome sport!
It must be tasteful and not portray kite surfing in a bad light (no illegal activity will be accepted)
Ensure a SAKSA logo is clearly visible at some point during the film. Other sponsors or shops logos are also acceptable.
Riders are limited to 3 entries per person and must be financial SAKSA members.
Prizes:
There will be some sick prizes up for grabs so be sure to do a good job and get your entries in!

Remember this is about showing the stoke we all get from kite surfing and riding with our mates. So get behind those cams and start filming. As we get further into the season, more details will be released but start filming now, so you don't miss out on any of the awesomeness :-D.
