Hey all if you are heading up for the Robe Classic get your accommodation sorted now !!! The local Raine and Horne real estate agent and Neil Ottoson First National Real Estate have holiday homes available for rental but they get snapped up quick so jump on it.

For those who haven't been...it is always an epic weekend and well worth the effort, this year will be no different !!!!

Just dont bring ur missus, tell her u cant come, cos its a boys weekend, and u cant possibly balance a girl, kiting and SAKSA responsabilities hey Geoff! Or is that u just dont want her to see u act like an idiot and be drunk the entire weekend? Some committee members can do it and i reckon that deserves a HTFU Geoffrey. He he

Well its 2 months until Robe Easter 2009 Kiteboarding Classic. For crew that have never been to Robe for the Easter comp.. You have missed out on so much.
The Easter Comp is a 3 day free ride event, for any level.. You ride as much as you can, for as long as you want over the 3 days.. There are many judges on and off the water, watching for the best trick, best wave riding, good stacks, and general on water effort..

So at any level you have a chance of winning a good prize.. but if you aren’t into getting wet in that way.. You can always just chill at the comp site listening to the DJ playing tunes all day, and drinking as many red bulls as your body can take..

The nights are all planned.. With Friday night a full sponsored, beach party at the comp site, like normal so many free drinks, you will be hurting the next day..
The Saturday night, the robe pub puts on a sick night, if you can remember it the next day..
Sunday night is the prezzo night and recovering night..

So if you are a kiter on just a hanger on. Its a sick weekend.. So there are still few houses to rent for the weekend.. They may sleep 6 in a house but that helps you to work out how many more swags you can fit in a bedroom. . Normally most crew have about 12 crew in each house.. I have had one year 23 staying in a house for a weekend.. Its just makes it more fun..

So rev up its an epic weekend, and a trip not to forget..

Any question, on anything.. hit up Onboard..

Cheers!

Comp and Friday night party at 3rd ramp- Long Beach, Sat night at the pub and sunday night on the lawns of the caledonian...

Staying in Robe town has always been my preference- down near 1st ramp is too far from the pub.......

The Robe Easter Classic usually kicks off from about 10 am Friday the 10th of April and runs through to about 9pm Sunday the 12th of April. Most crew head to Robe on Thursday and head home Monday.
Totally frothing for this event, it's a total kite hard, party hard weekend.

Its looking like it going to be even bigger that last year.. Final art work is getting dun. Soon we will be opening up rego, so you can order your right size hoodies.

So your training between now and easter is find some waves for you flat water babies.. The dudes that know what waves are, find bigger one to train in.

But everyone needs to train up that drinking arm, in fact train both, just in case you wear one out doing the weekend, you can still drink..

Any question, ring the boys at onboard..

Get stoked, its going to be massive..
