Is that’s time again to try out all the new 2009 Kites and Windsurfing equipment.
This year is going to be held at Milang, next to the Boat ramp.
Saturday 15th November 11am to 6pm
Sunday 16th November 11am to 5pm
Heaps of gear for you to ride on.
Make a weekend of it, with a Saturday night meal at the Milang Pub and swag in the caravan park.

Milang is looking pretty good too- just watch out for snapping turtles and overgrown kickers !!!
Oh yeah and dare I say it- even if it's not real windy the windsurfers and sup's are kind of fun.....

So keen to kit the kicker and get a kite in. Barmera was massive and now have to wait 354 days intil next year. so milang is the next one to get stoked about.

Hi Guys. The guys at the Milang caravan park (Jill and Joe) are offering 10% off for all sailboarders and kitesurfers who are keen to stay with us on saturday night. Just mention that you are part of the group and let them know what you need (powered / unpowered site, caravan or cabin). Fingers crossed that we get some wind, we've got a pile of gear for all to try... JP, Fanatic, Thommen, Neilpryde, and North windsurf gear, Cabrinha, North, Slingshot and Naish Kite gear and Naish SUP boards. Redbull will be down there as will the BBQ and a few Coopers for the afternoons. We'll also make the most of the Milang Pub on saturday night, the counter meals are excellent! So waiting for milang, Heard the pub meals are sick. Milang is also a great place for any skilled kiters and windsurf.
So Geoff anf travis you we be able to get more windsurfing lesson there. Maybe you might be able to make it further that 20 meters this time.

Scott, I know there were two cabins in the park there; you'll have to check with Joe.
There are some shacks that shackowners may be willing to rent one out for a night or weekend. I'll be down there this weekend so I'll see if I can get some phone numbers if you're keen.
Looking forward to the 15th/16th. Milang Pub meals are awesome.
My recommendation for the pub menu is the Schnitzels (and chicken salad is good for the ladies).
Surf and Turf is gold, but you can get the prawns and hollandaise on the schnitzels. It's like the perfect meal except the perfect meal is a schnitzel topped with another schnitzel...
Actually, the whole menu rocks. I'm off for lunch...
I think I saw that there were rooms at the pub and a couple of rentals down the sidestreet the pub is on ?
I can help here, There are 3 cabins at the caravan park as well as on site vans.(from $35-65 a night) There is also a Motel about half a K from the pub.(I think it's around $75 a night) Just behind the shop there is holiday units. you can google the numbers.

Only a coulpe of days away until the milang weekend.
Its going to fun, good flat lake session, a quite drinks at the pub, a night under the stars. Then on the water again on sunday.
