We have been in contact with the council and we are arranging a meeting to discuss the confusion surrounding the signage being placed along the foreshore with them. What hasn't changed is you can still kite out the front of the Largs Bay Sailing Club car park as long as you have your current SAKSA membership. To clear up any confusion, the path which is directly out the front of the LBSC carpark entrance has always been the boundary of where you can and can't kite. At this stage due to the signage change North of Chester st (North of the Northern end of the LBSC carpark). We ask our members not to kite North of this point until further notice. We are currently dealing with this situation as quickly as we can and will inform everyone as soon as possible on any changes.
