It's been a bit lean lately on the windy side (got one session last week)- what's everyone doing to get their stoke ?
I think the bike shops in Adelaide may be seeing some extra dollars flow through as a whole heap of kiters turn to mountain biking, anything else ?
Building a wake winch. Not a lot of water where we are
so we'll be hitting up farm dams and the River Light ![]()
I have been rabbit hunting.
Nothing to do with kiting, but at least I can do it when theres no wind :D
not sure about the local bike shops but Chain Reaction Cycles have been busy sending goods out to all the Downhill crew! Super stoked...
I've been building a speed board and looking at the BOM site, and...
....it looks like we won't have to worry about the lack of wind for too much longer.
Here is something to cheer everyone up - this weekend's forecast
:
...looks like mostly NW-ly, so should be good for most spots, but check again on the day.
Means I won't be able to use my speedboard yet as it's a directional (port tack) board (for southerly winds). ![]()

Yea I got one sneaky session before work on Friday morning... was almost tempted to try the narrow channel that the excavator was digging at Fort Glanville for sand carting.
Been mountain biking at Eagle Park in between - saw another SAKSA sticker on the 4WD parked next to mine on Sunday.
