Anyone know of any local people that fixes kite tears? I have a nice big tear in my Rebel and am thinking of sending it to Moti Levi, but then I will miss out for about a week.

Just wondering if there was anyone in Adelaide?

Cheers

This season I have repaired 8 kites for people. The Best, fastest and cheapest person is www.kiterepair.com.au

about $40 per linear m. I can send and have your kite back in less that 10 working days.

Thanks guys. I have taken it to Binks Marine in the end. Fingers crossed for the end of the week.

Maybe I can also get some tips from the "What to do with a broken foot" thread.

Cheers

Did you read the question ? he knows about Moti (www.kiterepair.com.au)- he wanted a local repairer.....so he could have it by the weekend, not in 10 days.

Binks are good, they do a good repaqir and their price is very competitive.

Please don't jack my thread!!!

Only tips and help!!

By the way. Local sail repairers have quoted about a week turnaround. Moti Levi's website says 24 hrs but postage costs one way have to be factored in as well as posting days (time spent in transit).

So it is about 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

Cheers!
