I would like to invite everyone to the unofficial SAKSA christmas drinks. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to be a member to attend and of course partners are welcome to.

Thursday the 18th of Decmember at 7pm at the Ramsgate Hotel in Henley square is the venue, so bring the christmas spirit and as the night slowly proceeds, hear the jumps get higher and the waves get bigger.

So hopefully we will see you all there.

Cheers Croc

i will try to attend, am currently printing up some 'Wind Permits' to sell on the night to fund my o/s trip to hawaii. these will come at a discount rate of 50% of what your local council are planning to charge. you MUST have a 'Wind Permit' by 20 dec 08. even though are not orthentic the inspector wont know the difference so it should be a good fund raiser for my trip, hope to see all you kiters there! cheers and merry xmas to all.(ps. if you get kicked of the beach in adelaide , we have a largely uninhabited beach at barmera ,just not much water- dont forget the $ for my permit at the rammy -see you there!)

lucky the beach at barmera is nice and wide kym.. more for you to get dragged across. haha.
Have you got any fake PFD's that don't float to sell? would fund your trip in no time. I kited at scarborough, WA, today.. if i was wearing PFD would have hurt a lot..had to duck under a few big waves.

I'll be there.. haven't met many fellow kite dudes yet. sounds like a good night.

We might have to start a bit earlier so that we can downwind home before the seabreeze drops out.

Yeah Trav does the no show most of the time anyway, its kinda expected! Whats to stop u from coming after Trav???????

However the big question will be if Jordy is allowed out? Hes on a pretty short leash these days!

My leash is long and not tight at all so I can do what I like. The main issue is my client drinks on Wednesday night which last year I didn't get home from til 8am. If it's the same this year I may be very quiet on Thursday night no matter who might be involved!

Roo, I am going to Melbourne this weekend, would you like me to deliver anything to your bride over there for you?

Trav- That is the gayest thing I have ever heard of.

You didn't answer my question about sending something to melbourne? Maybe she could come over here and you could go to Alicia Keys with Travis and Inge, then sit in the car on the way home and sing along to her songs while you all hold hands and clap to the beat!!

I'll be there, and bringing the wife (if thats's appropriate, although she has done exactly 5 days less kite boarding than me so can't really argue, and she'll hopefully be driving!)
I am sure I will be able to recognise you all from your Saksa membership tags ?!
Sounds fun see you there

i am not trying to threadjack this away from drinks and entertaining bickering (AG would be after me..) but if anyone is interested in KITING before drinking the forcast is looking pretty good.
A big downwinder would be pretty cool, then henley to kiteshop run has had some great gutters lately. Anyone keen?
Oh, back to the subject of drinking... enjoy yourselves and next time lets go somewhere where i belong in front of the bar instead of behind it[}:)]

No stress crocster... i thought i would be working and be able to hook up some evil shots but no luck, well actually lucky for me cause its the one windy day of the week.
as for the downwinder, Bev and I will probably do run number 1 around lunchtime, maybe run #2 around 3ish, and possibly #3 around 430/5pm.
This all depends on the wind but i plan on being in my wetty for the whole day. if anyone is keen to tag along at all shoot us a txt on 0415 497 445.

Awesome turnout tonight for a drink, good to catch up and also see a few new faces.
Nice work Croc for organising it. Pity I couldn't stay longer; the overwhelming urge to go home and download some Alicia Keys music got the better of me....[}:)]
Have a great Xmas all.
Cheers
