My Comments: anyone wave riding wth 7 gypsy what low end windrange are u getting ?
I've been out at Wanda the last two days on the Gipsy 7m.
Winds NE 25-30knots using a 6'2" surfboard. Set on the mid front knot and fast back settings with 25%-50% depower. I was very comfortable even in the gusty conditions. Ive been using North Rebels but switched this year to a 12m, 9m and 7m Wainman quiver. For my style of riding (strapped surfboard) I consider them the best Kites on the market at the moment. The 7m is very powerful for its size, I weight 90kg and use it with a 6'2" as soon as it's blowing solid 20Knts. It's a joy to ride, quick turns with constant power through the turn, this allows me to set the rail and forget the kite. It is so light it just drifts downwind, if it starts to come forward I just set it back with a flick of the wrist and a quick loop. Wainman are onto something for wave riding. There is a 15m line setting which I have not tried yet but I think it should make everything even quicker.
Quality - 8 simple but effective bar, great graphics.
Satisfaction- 10 I'm going new places on the wave with these Kites.
Disclosure- I buy all my own gear.

Do yourself a favour and PM or ring WOK dude (west oz kiteboarding) he's actually kiteboard buisness owner that kites and knows good from bad and has tried every kite on the market.
I've seen him on the 7m gypsy a few times now, so should be able to give an honest opinion![]()
